Kevin Devine is an award-winning children's entertainer, recording artist and prolific songwriter with a catalog of over 750 songs he has written for his own albums and concerts as well as for TV, film and video, including the PBS hit series Barney and Friends and the recent NBC mini-series Witness to the Mob.

For the past 11 years, he's been delighting audiences from Maine to Texas with his rollicking, participatory concerts. He is a past winner of the Boston Parents' Paper Entertainer of the Year award.

In addition to his own compositions, Kevin's vast repertoire includes songs from other sources -- children's classics, Broadway, the movies, folk songs and songs in nearly a dozen languages and from many cultures around theworld. With his renowned Trunk of Many Hats and his madcap shenanigans, he leaves audiences giddy with laughter and eager to sing with him again.

Kevin holds a BA in Literature from the University of Michigan, where he was awarded a Hopwood Writing Award in 1983. He studied voice and piano privately for many years with teachers in Detroit and Boston. He now lives on the East Coast, with his wife Claire and son Tom.
